2017 Pick-Me-Up!

If you are still recovering from the holidays and trying to get back into the swing of things, you may want to try this easy to make amazing elixir! It helps to clear congestion, coughs, colds, fatigue and refreshes the soul!screen-shot-2017-01-15-at-1-28-44-pm

Ingredients:

2 cups water
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 organic lemon (juiced)
3 tablespoons raw honey
10 peeled, mashed garlic cloves
1 tablespoon grated ginger

Directions:

Simmer the garlic in the water for 10 minutes and strain (or leave the garlic if you prefer texture). Mix with the apple cider vinegar, juice of the lemon, and honey (you can add more if desired). Drink 2-3 times daily on its own or mix with warm water and sip.  Refrigerate for up to a week and enjoy! Measurements can be increased or decreased to taste. I love ginger, so I use 3 tablespoons!
